Welcome to Extreme Web Design.

I've been programming computers since I was in 6th grade in 1972.  Our Junior High school received a "teletype", a glorified typewriter with continuous feed greenbar paper, which was connected to the local Community College.  I was one of 5 students that was awarded a user account with 5K of space.  I programmed in BASIC and saved my programs on 1" wide black paper tape.  I knew then that I wanted to be a programmer.  I've been a professional programmer since 1984 and have learned several programming languages on many Operating Systems including DOS, Windows & Linux.

I started out learning and using dBase.  This evolved to dBase 3+, then FoxBase, then FoxPro to Visual FoxPro.  From there I went to Visual Basic for DOS which lead to Visual Basic for Windows up to version 6.  I then started learning HTML which lead to CSS, JavaScript, ColdFusion, and PHP all using databases from Access to Interbase to MySQL.

Currently my main focus is developing websites with HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript with MySQL as the database engine.  I also create graphic images and flash files to enhance website usability and appeal.
